Two Women Discover They’re Dating the Same Man in Viral TikTok Drama
The man allegedly told the other woman that one of the relationships wasn’t official.
Two women recently discovered they were dating the same man, and TikTok played a central role in exposing the tangled relationship.
On Sunday, influencer Kylan Darnell went viral after she had broken up with her boyfriend because she had found out through a TikTok video that another woman named Grace Hale was dating the same man. One of Darnell's family members sent her a video of Hall hanging with Darnell's boyfriend, which led to her ending the relationship.
While at an airport, Darnell recorded a video where she got emotional and wished Hall didn't share the video of her ex-boyfriend.
The story took another turn when Hale addressed the situation in a since-deleted TikTok post. According to Hale, the man told her he was dating someone "famous." She later realized he was referring to Darnell after noticing her in his followers list. Hale claimed the man downplayed his relationship with Darnell, saying it wasn’t official.
"He told me not to tell anyone because they were not official," said Hale. "I go on thinking they're not together, that this doesn't exist."
Once Hale realized the truth, she wrestled with how to inform Darnell. The man asked her to wait a few days before saying anything, but Hale decided to take matters into her own hands. She initially sent Darnell a direct message but didn’t receive a response. Frustrated, Hall chose to post the video on TikTok for everyone to see.
Hale admitted the decision was impulsive, but she later managed to contact Darnell directly. The two women shared screenshots and compared notes, which revealed the man’s duplicity. Hale expressed regret over airing the drama online, saying, "I acted out of anger and shouldn’t have put our business on social media."
Despite finding common ground and agreeing to move on, Darnell hinted she might start a podcast to delve deeper into the situation.
